Pallet Storage Terms & Conditions
Scope of Services: Package Mate provides indoor storage of palletised goods subject to these Terms & Conditions. Temperature- or humidity-controlled storage is not provided.
Pallet Size & Acceptance: Maximum pallet height is 2.2m. Pallets must be structurally sound, stable, and securely wrapped. We may refuse unsafe or non-compliant pallets.
Prohibited Goods: Perishable, temperature-sensitive, hazardous, illegal, or restricted goods are strictly prohibited. Undisclosed prohibited items may be refused or removed at your cost.
Minimum Storage Period: 14 consecutive days per pallet. No refunds or credits for early removal.
Inbound & Outbound Handling: Standard handling days are Mondays and Fridays. Handling outside standard days may incur a surcharge. Weekend handling is subject to availability and fees. Fees apply per pallet movement.
Booking & Notice: All arrivals and retrievals must be booked at least 3 business days in advance. Short-notice requests may incur surcharges.
Pallet Condition & Repacking: Damaged or unsafe pallets may be refused or repacked at your cost.
Customer Responsibilities: Ensure accurate pallet information, compliance with terms, and arrange your own insurance.
Insurance & Liability: Package Mate is not liable for loss, damage, theft, or force majeure. Liability is limited to storage fees paid for the affected pallet during the previous 30 days.
Access: Customers do not have direct access. All movements are managed by Package Mate staff.
Right to Refuse or Terminate: Package Mate may suspend or terminate services for breach of these Terms or if goods pose a risk.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
